(I wasnt sure if it was the wheels breaking traction or something in the trans.)Ī few days later I saw a quarter size puddle under the truck and found ATF dripping from the TC inspection plate nipple. Its been tidy and running fine after the rebuild for 20k miles.Ī few weeks ago I had to jump on the skinny pedal because someone ran a red light as I was turning left and the truck seemed to let loose in the turn and then catch slamming the whole drivetrain but nothing too violent. Its not a tow rig, just a daily driver on 36' tires and 6' lift. Truck is tuned with 205/30s and an upgraded garret turbo so maybe just over 400hp. Installed mishimoto cooler and billet TC when we did the transmission to keep temps down and prevent slippage. 2001 F250 with 4R100 lost the front seal at 145,000 miles and puked all the fluid and burnt up almost every gear.
